Naast het begeleiden van workshops ben ik zelf ook iedere dag met kunst bezig. Ik maak grafische kunst veelal vanuit intu\u00eftie. Zonder vooraf een vast plan te hebben laat ik me leiden door wat zich tijdens het maakproces aandient. Juist daarin vind ik de vrijheid, rust en verwondering die cre\u00ebren voor mij zo bijzonder maken.
Ik werk graag met verschillende materialen en technieken, zoals tekenen met fineliner, aquarel, zeefdruk, blauwdruk (cyanotypie), linodruk en schilderijen met acrylverf. Ik houd van kleur, grafische vormen en architectuur, maar laat me minstens zo graag inspireren door de natuur.
Samen met mijn hond Tommie wandel ik graag door het bos of het park. Onderweg neem ik bewust de tijd om stil te staan bij kleine dingen: een bloem die net open gaat, een bijzonder insect of een vogel die zich even laat zien. Die momenten van verwondering, aandacht en vertraging vormen een belangrijke inspiratiebron voor mijn werk.
Als je goed kijkt, zul je veel van die elementen terugzien in mijn kunst en tekeningen. Organische vormen, grafische lijnen, kleur, natuur en ruimte komen steeds opnieuw terug. Voor mij gaat kunst niet alleen over wat je ziet, maar vooral over wat je voelt terwijl je kijkt \u00e9n terwijl je maakt.<\/p>\n
